A Venue for Arts, Humanities, & Cultural Exchange
The Multicultural Center of the South is an educational, information and tourist center dedicated to the enhancement, understanding, and appreciation of the history and diverse cultures of Northwest and other parts of Louisiana.
The Multicultural Center of the South, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Monthly programs and events include: cultural celebrations, art classes and workshops for school children & adults, monthly teen council meetings, local & state artist exhibits and more.

The Multicultural Center of the South is located at 401 Texas Street in the heart of Downtown Shreveport, Louisiana.
The facility consists of four floors and has 52,745 square feet of space. Cultural exhibits occupy the first and second floors. The Center has a multicultural library, arts & crafts activity center, and retail gift shop. Meeting and reception space are available for rental. Facility Rental Fees
